In this 4-week series, Julie will combine the physical practice of Yin Yoga (a slow-meditaive style of yoga that encourages surrender, release, observation, and mindful response) with the contemplative practice of Lovingkindness. You will not only learn how to physically let go of tension and how to observe your thoughts with less judgement and criticism, but you will leave each class with specific and practical ways to practice Lovingkindness in your own life. Be prepared for some inner work.
The book, "The Sacred Art of Lovingkindness: Preparing to Practice", by Rabbi Rami Shapiro is not required reading, although it is highly recommended.
All levels are welcome.
