This is an athletic Vinyasa style class focused on building strength and core stability.
All levels are welcome.

This session will be for seven (7) weeks with classes on Sundays from 9:00am -10:00am. The class dates are:

Class Fees / Payment Options:
Cash, Check or PayPal can be used for payment. Class pricing is as follows:
Drop-in - $10.00 (cash or check only)
Full seven (7) week session - $45.00 (must pay on or before October 7)
Multiple family member full eight (8) week session discounted rate - $35.00 each (must pay on or before Oct. 7)
If you prepay for the full session and are not able to attend a class, I will provide you a credit for the class price on an upcoming session providing there is enough interest to continue offering the sessions. The credit will be based on what rate you paid divided by the number of classes (example - $50.00 / 8 = $6.25, $40.00 / 8 = $5.00)
I will be teaching all the classes. If for some reason class is cancelled due to weather or illness, I will refund any prepaid class payments for missed classes or offer a credit for the class price on an upcoming session provided there is enough interested to continue offering the sessions. 500-HOUR RYT (REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER)
I am a 500-hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) who has been teaching yoga for roughly 10 years. My classes are taught in a Vinyasa style (movement linked to breath) with an athletic vibe to build strength and body awareness. I believe everyone can benefit from a regular yoga practice and enjoy challenging my students with new variations of poses and core work.
I stumbled upon yoga about 15 years ago to help compliment my love of running. In the beginning I attended one class a week during lunch at work and once I noticed how great my tight hamstrings felt after class, the number of classes I took a week grew until I was practicing daily. Not only did my running improve with incorporating yoga into my life, but I also started to notice how much I was enjoying the mindfulness part of practice. It was at this point I signed up for a 200-hour training program which changed my life. I started teaching shortly after graduating my 200-hour program (through YogaSpirit) and have continued to take workshops and teacher trainings. I graduated from my 500-hour program (Rolf Gates and Heidi Sormaz) in June of 2016.
“I believe in welcoming all students to yoga and honoring whatever reason brought them to their mat. My desire is that they find awareness in body, mind and breath and learn to let go of what they think it should be or look like, and just let it be as it is. My most successful classes are those in which all my students are in an expression of a pose that feels right for them and is allowing them to receive the benefits of the pose for their bodies safely.”
Outside of running, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family and my dogs, Doogie and Happy.
