Shake Your Soul® is a movement practice that relaxes your nervous system, energizes your body, and awakens your soul through a powerful, fluid dance repertoire set to world music.
The class is appropriate for all levels of movement/dance experience and fitness.
The second part of the class will encompass an internal inquiry through reflection, gentle yoga and meditation to continue to connect with the mind and body.
This class will be led by Bella Miceli.
Doing research on Yoga and Meditation for her Ph.D. program, Bella realized that yoga and meditation can bring healing and transformation and left her Ph.D. program to enter into a master’s program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is alsoenrolled in the Hartford Family Institute's Body-Centered Psychotherapy Training Program focusing on somatic approaches in therapy.
In her 200-hour yoga training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, it aligned her own healing journey and showed her that the issues are in the tissues. Through dance, singing, meditation, yoga, and community, Bella hopes to bring peace, joy, laughter, and love into the hearts of those that she connects with.
