MINDFUL SWEARING & OTHER STRESS BUSTING TECHNIQUES

It isn’t easy being a teen these days. Ever feel like you just want to swear about it? Come share your experience and work on stress busting yoga and mindfulness strategies that will help you manage your stressors so that you can choose where and when to drop the F-bomb. Class will begin with a short share and discussion each week, followed by a yoga and relaxation practice suitable for all fitness levels. 
This class is open to high school students.

Yin Yoga & Core with Julie

Fridays @ 9:30 am

Julie combines the physical and meditative practice of Yin Yoga with core work to strike a balance of inner peace and physical and emotional core strength. Physically, Yin Yoga can increase one's flexibilty and energetic flow targeting the deep connective tissues of the body and the fascia. Mentally, Yin Yoga encourages surrender and body awareness without judgement. The core element can improve posture and strenghten the body from the inside out. All levels welcome.

Stretch & Strengthen

Wednesdays 9:30 am - 10:45 am.

In this class we use simple bodyweight exercises and functional movements to strengthen your body (leg, arms, & core). We will also take some time work on balance and finish with some stretching to help increase our mobility, improve our posture, and replenish the nervous system. Safely sweat, stretch, and de-stress.
